Privacy Policy Statement for online services of Stopanska Banka AD - Skopje
This Privacy Policy Statement explains the manner in which SB collects, uses, maintains, discloses and protect the personal information collected from users ("User") when visiting and/or using SB’ online services www.stb.com.mk, M-banking mobile app including TOPSI Pay service and any other online services offered by the Bank.
This Privacy Statement is included in the URL in the M-banking mobile app dashboard and is linked in any app store that allows this option. This Statement shall be consistent with any policies of third parties that communicates with the online services of SB (such as Facebook, Google, etc.).

How SB protect your information?
Stopanska Banka AD – Skopje is dedicated to protecting the confidentiality and personal data of its clients. The Bank adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal and non-personal information data stored on its online services and website. Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of SB’ clients is part of the Code of Ethics which is obligatory for all employees of the Bank.
Stopanska Banka AD – Skopje is responsible to protect clients’ information respecting the following principles:
- The personal data is collected in an ethical and lawful manner,
- is collected for specific, explicit and legal purposes, and
- is kept securely and only for the time period provided for the fulfilment of the purposes of collection and processing.
What information SB collects?
SB collects information from its clients when they visit Bank’ website, its mobile app M-banking or any other online services offered by the Bank. The client shares personal data with the Bank when he/she becomes a customer, register with or use Bank’s online services.
The Bank may collect personal or non-personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways in connection with activities, services, features or resources that are available on SB’ website, M-banking app or any other online service. The Bank shall collect personal data from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to the Bank.
Google Analytics
The website of SB uses Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the site. The tool uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including IP address) is transmitted to Google. This information is then used to evaluate visitors' us of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity for Stopanska Banka AD - Skopje.
The Bank will never (and will not allow any third party to) use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of visitors to SB site. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Neither the Bank nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user.
The m-Banking app whereas the TOPSI Pay service is integrated, provides an option for linking to the clients’ Facebook profile. If selected, in order to improve the app experience TOPSI Pay shall ask for the following Facebook permissions from the user:
- Public Profile
- User Friends list
These information collected from Facebook are not beeing addititonaly processed! The client can de-activate TOPSI Pay at any time and with that the Bank is fully respecting the guidelines stipulated in the Facebook Platform Policy.
How we use collected information?
Stopanska Banka AD - Skopje collects and uses Users collected information only for improving the services for its clients.
Sharing your personal information
The Bank do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. Personal data can be shared only in compliance with legal requirements stipulated in applicable data protection legislation, as well as all relevant regulations regarding this matter.
Third party websites
Users may find advertising or other content on SB website that link to the sites and services of Bank’s partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. The Bank does not control the content or links that appear on these sites and is not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from www.stb.com.mk.
In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to SB Site, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.
Online Privacy Statement Only
This online privacy Statement applies only to information collected through using online services of the Bank and not to information collected otherwise.
Changes to this privacy Statement
Stopanska Banka AD - Skopje has the discretion to update this privacy Statement at any time. The Bank is amending its privacy policies only due to changes in the applicable legislation or following the best international practices, if needed.
When the Statement is amended, the Bank will post a notification on the main page of its website, with revised updated date at the bottom of the page and will update it on the app store app where this is an option.
Acceptance of these terms
By using the online services the client accepts that the Bank keeps and processes his/hers personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation.
