Stopanska banka takes part in the activity to save electricity

We share the public statement from the MBA (Macedonian Banking Association) in full:

The Government proclaimed a state of crisis in the energy sector for a period of 30 days starting November 9th. MBA therefore coordinated its members and unanimously supported the initiative to shut down the illuminated signs of all branches and headquarter buildings for a period of 30 days.

Taking this effort, the banks and saving houses contribute to the national effort in preserving electricity and demonstrate unity in corporate social responsible behavior which is then delegated to each employee in the member companies, recommending that each employee be rational in using electricity at work and at home. With collective educational actions such as this one, we cal positively address the challenges we are facing globally such as preservation of the environment and tackling climate change effects.

MBA is grateful to its members for the fast response to the proposed action, and also to their ongoing efforts in sustainability and raising awareness on ecology topics.
