Stopanska banka becomes the largest insurance retail network on the market
In the year that marks the 75th anniversary Stopanska banka AD – Skopje began the bankassurance project in cooperation with Croatia Insurance/Non-life and UNIQA Life.
Through its’ 65 branches, the 24/7 contact center and with over 120 licensed insurance representatives, the Bank now offered to the market the largest insurance retail network, making insurance all the more available.
Insurance is a big part of the financial system in the country and is complementary to traditional banking services around the world. The role that Stopanska banka shall primarily have is to provide clients with education regarding the advantages of insurance and the added value they get by using banking products bundled with insurance.
With the sales of over 5.000 policies through the Bank in the segment of life and non-life insurance in this short period, as well as with the positive reactions of the clients, these particular products have gained extra popularity:
- Free annual travel insurance that regular and new VISA/Master credit card users get by activation through the branches or the contact center
- Loans bundled with life insurance (consumer, mortgage, housing) with special terms and
- Loans bundled with accident insurance which include annual voucher of 400/600 mkd that clients can use for other insurance policy purchased through the Bank
Besides the offer of combined, bundled bank products with insurance policies, the clients can purchase all kind of other insurances such as: domestic/home insurance, travel insurance with special pricing, AO, Kasko, green card accident insurance and so on.
Using the press event occasion, Mr. Diomidis Nikoletopoulos, CEO of Stopanska banka AD – Skopje said „Insurance on the global market is already inseparable from the classical banking products, and Stopanska banka offers clients synergy, i.e. added value when using credit products.
