Sonuvame. Menuvame. vol. 5

As part of the fifth edition of "Sonuvame. Menuvame", the socially responsible project for encouraging the inclusion of people with disabilities in society, Stopanska banka approved grants for projects with a total value of 20,000 euros. The announcement of the winners of the financial support takes place on the day that marks the Bank's 79th year.

The fifth edition of "Sonuvame. Menuvame" began this year with a call to Associations and schools for persons with disabilities to send requests for grants. The success of the call is evident in the record number of applications - 31 in total - and a large part of them will be implemented in the next period.

Together with the annual grant winners, the Bank is rounding up over 80,000 euros in donations for the realization of almost 50 projects as part of "Sonuvame. Menuvame"

As part of this year's edition of this socially responsible activity, there were five screenings of the new inclusive music-theatre show in the National Theater, produced by OxO production, with the favorite characters from the popular TV series "5+ Family".

- Through play, through song and through laughter, we conveyed a message to our youngest fellow citizens that every day we can act to create a better future and a better world for everyone. The rich play abounds with excellent scenography, choreography and striking music, and it is our pleasure to announce that during 2024 the play will continue to be shown in MNT and will continue to spread this important message - say Stopanska Banka.

The commission that decided in relation to the received requests also took into account the approved projects from previous years in order to maintain continuity in the type and form of the projects whose aim is to give longer-term effects in the daily life of the users and to help in the conditions and access necessary for education. and proper user development.

The projects with a brief explanation and the approved amounts are shown below. The bank will contact all the winners and will approach the appropriate implementation already in January.

• OURC "Dr. Zlatan Sremec", Skopje - Purchase of an interactive table. Approved amount: 1,600 euros
• OOU "Dimitar Pop Georgiev - Berovski", Skopje - Purchase of an electric wheelchair transporter (tracker). Approved amount: 4,000 euros
• National Association for Social Inclusion "Constellation", Skopje - construction reconstruction of an adapted toilet for people with physical disabilities over 18 years old. Approved amount: 3,500 euros
• NGO for the care of persons with cerebral palsy "Prkos", Skopje, Procurement of orthopedic aids. Approved amount 1,700 euros
• Association for children and youth with special needs "Lastovica", Skopje - Purchase of speech therapy equipment and devices. Approved amount: 1,000 euros
• "Detelinka plus" - Center for the support of children and youth with developmental disabilities, Bitola - Procurement of didactic materials. Approved amount: 1,000 euros
• OOU "Kuzman Josifovski - Pitu" class for hearing-impaired children, Skopje - purchase of school supplies. Approved amount: 1,000 euros
• Day care center for people with cerebral palsy, Skopje - Purchase and installation of roller blinds for the windows in the day care center. Approved amount: 1,000 euros
• PHI "Health Center Skopje" - Computer equipment. Approved amount: 1,000 euros
• Association for providing services to persons with disabilities HANDIMAK - Tetovo - Equipping a sensory room for the needs of children and students with disabilities. Approved amount: 1,000 euros
• Association for the Development of Social Responsibility "My Way" - Skopje. Support in the purchase of a walking simulator. Approved amount: 2,000 euros
• Association of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities - Veles. Construction works for arranging a yard. Approved amount: 1,200 euros
