Launch of the "Green wall" project

With today's action in the center of the City, Stopanska banka AD - Skopje announced its latest socially responsible activity, which has the working title "Green Wall".

As part of this activity, the Bank will provide more than 1,200 tall, young trees for Skopje and, with the help of the City's expert services, will plant them on the footpath along the Vardar quay in several phases over the next 2 years.

To begin with, young employees and young managers from the Bank, together with their families, planted a small park with tall Japanese cherry trees at the location next to the "Mother Teresa" bridge in the center of the City. The opportunity to participate in this investment in our environment and the planning of the city's greenery in the long term was well received by the employees, and the pleasant sunny weather made a special contribution to the good mood.

The "Green Wall" campaign continues next week when Public company "Parks" will start planting the first 350 trees of young trees of several indigenous species on the planned stretch along the quay of the Vardar River.

Every step taken in the direction of increasing greenery in urban areas contributes to improving air quality and improves the environment for all. That is why Stopanska banka AD - Skopje is starting the project, with the support of its employees in creating a better tomorrow for everyone.
