Certificate for fair financial services issued to Stopanska banka
A Certificate for fair financial services was issued to Stopanska banka AD - Skopje by the Organization of consumers, on voluntary basis.
By issuing the Certificate the Organization confirms that Stopanska banka AD - Skopje is oriented towards the respect of the consumer rights and is devoted to caring for the consumer satisfaction in all business areas.
The "Fair financial services for consumers" certificate is issued based on the fulfillment of the required criteria in six separate areas relevant for the consumers as these: providing correct, unambiguous, clear, and timely information, implementation of fair market practices, enabling communication and access to the Bank for various groups of clients, a system for responsible management of customer complaints, as well as education of consumers and promotion of financial literacy.

In all abovementioned areas the Bank met the required criteria and therefore gained the certificate "Fair Financial Services for Consumers". The Certificate verifies that the Bank is committed to nurturing a exemplary behavior towards the consumers, contributing to their levels of confidence and satisfaction.", said the Chairman of the Organization of consumers PhD Marijana Lonchar Velkova.
"The Certificate we were issued is in a manner of speaking a confirmation from our clients that all of these years we are going in the right direction, that we highly respect their rights and fully comply to the legislation, with a high devotion from the entire team of the Bank towards the satisfaction of our clients' needs.
The financial education and the improvement of our financial literacy are part of our informal duties, part of our CSR activities, especially given the fact that in our 77 year history we have always been the ones introducing new financial products and services for the clients, which required from us to devote significant resources in securing the proper tools for educating both our employees and our clients and community members. Therefore, the issuing of this Certificate is an obligation for us to continue developing further in providing fair financial services for our clients.", said Mrs. Tatjana Kalajdzieva, Senior Manager for sales and branch network.
As the first of the large banks that is being issued this significant certificate, the Bank will continue to label its business locations, and further cooperate with the Organization of consumers in a number of educational activities and campaigns.
